Discerning Our Voice from a place of Balance 

We want people to notice us; to acknowledge us. Sometimes, when they don’t we get sensitive and respond with ‘emotional touchiness’ because in reality, we often expect people to reciprocate. However, we must realize that this sort of manipulation does not work. In fact, by becoming abrasive or aggressive, we often lose our own independence. By giving vent to our wounded feelings in order to gain attention, what often happens is we compromise our own direction. Is it worth it?

I would argue an emphatic No. We must not depend on others to be compatible with us. We must not compromise our own feelings to appease others. This shows a lack of direction and further invites others to take advantage.

Why are we so afraid? Why do we lose our ability to discriminate? By appeasing others, we only lose our confidence. Moreover, we stop inviting the right kind of people into our lives. We repel those that would otherwise be attracted to our genuine self.

I believe true internal balance is achieved when we take responsibility for our own beliefs. Instead of compromising in order to achieve ‘peacefulness’, we should commit ourselves to the integrity of our own direction…Then simply relax in the KnoWing that the outcome will be for the greater good.

By asserting ourselves and putting forth our genuine voice with conviction, we will automatically come into balance according to our higher plan or purpose. How we appear to others becomes at this point irrelevant. Why? It is because there exists out there, an endless supply of people who will genuinely sympathize with our beliefs provided we have the courage to express our own identity. Why not give a voice to our independent and real point of view? Why not go deep? Why not express ourselves from a place of harmony; from a place of balance? By doing this, we not only impel others to do the same, we claim our authority … we create the desired outcome …

An old man walking along a beach at dawn noticed a young man ahead of him picking up starfish and gently tossing them back into the sea. Catching up with the youth he asked what he was doing.
“The starfish will die if they are still on the beach when the sun comes up high. It will roast them with its mid-morning heat,” he replied. 
“But the beach goes on for miles, and there are millions of starfish,” countered the old man. “How can your effort make any difference?”
The young man looked at the starfish in his hand and gently tossed it safely in the waves. He then looks back at the man and says
“It makes a difference to this one.”

There are dual forces at work in our lives. There is your authentic self, and there is the person you limit yourself to being by holding onto outdated, false and negative beliefs from your past. When you remain bound to the past, you drag with you a collection of ugly old mental photographs of every mistake, wound, disappointment, regret and failure you have locked away within the trunk of your being - and every time you look upon its poisonous contents, you are trading away your potential for happiness in the present, for the sake of preserving ugliness from the past. Why? You would not hang ugly pictures of misery on the walls of your bedroom - so don’t allow them to continue spreading their misery within the gallery of your mind! My Friends, When you have a moment please read….

We are seeing now what ancient texts have known for millennia. It is time we become a better people. It is time we remember our relationship to the Earth, to care for one another so that we may be able to care for ourselves.

The very act of living our lives in the presence of one another; fully; intentionally; completely; focused! By virtue of doing this, we WILL be prepared for this time in history.

What we now know; what science now tells us; is that for every emotion there is a chemistry that matches. We have life affirming OR life denying chemistry. Anger, rage, and hatred actually produces a chemistry that STEALS the life from our bodies. Love, wisdom, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, IMBUES life into our bodies….and we all INTUITIVELY know this.

My friends, little fluffy issues are gone; what we are going through now are hard core issues and since we are all connected through a field of energy, we understand that many are feeling disenfranchised; disconnected.

BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD. Well what the heck does that mean? What this means is we must BE, we must embody those things - So many of us say well, how can I do that when I live a life that is ‘dysfunctional’ or a challenging ; a non positive environment; going through ‘tough’ times? Well, that is Life’s great challenge. That is how we begin to open the doors. I know the world makes little sense now, and I know that many of us are left wanting, seeking our own answers.

There’s the breakdown of peace in the Middle East and one half of the world’s countries are now at war. This is the time to come together as a family so that our children can have a fighting chance.

Understand that there is no THEM and US…there is WE. We are part of every government. We are part of every atrocity. We are also part of everything beautiful, innovative, and life advancing breakthrough as well.

Was there a need for us as a species to sink so low? Some will argue that only by virtue of this understanding do we get to a point where we comprehend the need for a philosophical shift.

Others will argue, and I agree, that it is a choice; a choice to be connected; to Earth; to the Divine; to the masculine; to the feminine; to something greater and higher than ourselves.

Physics tells us that there are 1.17 volts of electricity per every cell in our body…that’s 50 trillion volts; an incredible amount of potential since every cell receives, stores, and transmits information.
THEREFORE, we must remember this POWER! Let this inner wisdom be the conduit to human emotion so that we are not just observers but creators, actively participating in our collective future.

Life is a game and yet the game is very real; in a sense, the game is all we’ve got. Right now social unrest and rebellion is occurring against existing structures. People are demanding a change from the old to the new, except what is different NOW from times past is that now we are challenged to bring about this change with Love. My friends, we must confront our hopelessness, our fears of being small, of being inadequate, or not being enough.

We must act as co creators and that entails will, determination, action, involvement and more engaging than we’ve offered before. Know that all of us will find our center in our own unique way; whether it’s tapping into the spiritual, the scientific, etc…but we must make the most of it by ‘acting’…

It is IMPERATIVE that we all become educated, and aware of all different aspects and areas of life. Additionally, to have an impact, we must take our polarity and our individual self and REFOCUS it to the greater, wider, broader, larger global community.

We have so much work to do, but I am an optimist and have great faith in ourselves; in our destiny!

We have come into this life with purpose! We have come to mold and shape a totally NEW future! We have come into this life to participate! It is important that we don’t get lost in extremes, either by burying our heads in the sand (deny, ignore, avoid) or get lost in meditation or something else where we don’t listen to the news, the internet, the radio, etc. I know what we are seeing right now is difficult to watch and yes very painful BUT…

Let us focus on a new dawn; a new day. Let us focus on what CAN happen; on the possibilities; on our future! 

And how do we do this? …By vanishing doubt and feelings of unworthiness; by recognizing that we are Spirit manifested , capable of creating a life full of Love…By being self aware, responsible and self sufficient…By living by a Higher Truth that serves to elevate every life we touch!

And by being grateful - for it is gratitude that connects us to and reminds us of all that is solemn and divine and pure in our human nature.

I know that with you all, I am ‘preaching to the choir’ as they say, but I’ve tagged you because you all unknowingly and by virtue of your good Being, by virtue of spreading love in all you do and to all …you hold my hand and give me strength continue in this Our journey to balance … Shine On! ♥, M

In an awakening the struggle comes to create an inner strength for the souls who desire to keep rising. Opportunity is everywhere wearing the mask of strife. Revealing and solving the problem is how you build courage to take on what more lies ahead.. and more will come. Some will question your resolve simply because they have not found theirs. Some will jump at any chance to tear you down so they feel built up. Recognition of every endeavor is to remove the facade, awaken life, awaken love and welcome the path where you, and the obstacles stand. If you have so much information in your head that you can not hear your own thoughts, perhaps it is time to pare down, take a minute, and clear the confusion. When you can not hear, you will doubt and that doubt completely clogs the heart function. Purge to rid yourself of clutter and uncertainty that swirls in the mind. Organize and use what you can then let the rest of it go. If it is truly worth retaining, your heart will let you know. It’s about coming full circle. 360 degrees of inspiration. Journey to Balance 

The only way to have integrity in your life is to live with integrity in your life. Reflections are not just found in water or glass. Your actions will always echo and return in many ways. To have is to be. To be it is to understand, and when you get there (where ever there is ) the virtue comes to you naturally.
