Don’t stoop to lower levels of behavior if others around you are. The only person you can control is yourself, not others. Choose integrity, love and wisdom and whoever doesn’t get it, that is their problem, not yours. Don’t give up the best of who you are to battle those who don’t care… Don’t give it up for anyone. Just stay centered.
Awareness:
Being fully aware of oneself takes complete Honesty with yourself; to see your gifts as well as your beliefs and patterns. It is only in this full light that one can truly see themselves. Once you have this Awareness; you stop projecting onto others and take full responsibility for yourself and hold no blame or no complaint about life or other people. Once aware, you drop expectations and judgment about yourself and others. In this way, you can also see what is old and what is to be released; that which stands in your way of being your Authentic Self. To be aware, one must be present in the Moment; all other moments are false and led by separate ego. So stand in your Truth and shine fully the Light that you are!
Empower Yourself …
The start is to empower yourself and to know your own power. To know that you are at the helm and that you call the shots. Even if at times you may feel totally overwhelmed or overpowered by the energies of others or indeed lost.
Help is always at hand, always. You just need to ask. But to live allowing yourself to be controlled and/or overpowered by others how can you indeed be open to receive the help of the divine one source that is here to assist you and only you in opening up to your true, divine light.
Know yourself. Trust in yourself, and above all honor yourself. Great transformation comes when we learn to love and accept ourselves and take back our own energy, and to own our own energy, great transformation.
There is no rule that says we must take abuse from those who say they love us. Love is never abusive, whether that is verbal, psychological, emotional or physical.
You cannot change another person or get them to see things about their behavior they do not want to discover for themselves. If you are in a situation that is abusive, remove yourself. Set a boundary out of greater love for yourself.
We need to find the courage to say NO to the things and people that are not serving us if we want to rediscover ourselves and live our lives with authenticity.
Be Confident …
Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren’t … You are not above anyone but no one person is above you either — However, everyone is different — individual and unique …Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses …
and it is only when you accept everything you are … and aren’t …
that you will truly succeed …

Love Lights the Way … It is Never Lost …
Love is a force; it is the perfect emanation of good as defined by God. No love is ever lost. If you put love into the world, it is absorbed by someone, or something, that can use it. Love also has a way of coming back to you, although you may not see it. Love will always hit the mark; yet even though people can choose to ignore it, it always leaves an impression.
Being Trustworthy … The Light in the Dark …
Trusting yourself doesn’t mean to trust your ignorance, but to strive, heart and soul, to be trustworthy. All the spiritual practices and virtues come together to make you trustworthy to yourself, to others, to God, and to this world.
Being trustworthy means being honest and keeping your word to yourself and others. Being trustworthy means that you’ve pushed aside lower emotions, such as greed, hatred, and jealousy, so that your thoughts and actions are coming from higher emotions, such as love, generosity, and joy.
It is not enough to lazily say that you trust yourself when you’re really only trusting your most surface opinions, many of which have been planted in you by the very commercialized society we are living in today. You have to go deeper, through meditation, prayer, contemplation, and spiritual study, to find and express the part of yourself that is wise, divine, and trustworthy.
That trustworthy part of yourself will lead you through the jungles and mazes of life. It will guide you on what to do, who to spend time with, what to read, what goals to pursue, and where to go when. This trustworthy part of yourself is also your intuition, which knows a lot more about the world manifesting around you than you consciously do.
For example, your intuition knows if you’re dealing with someone who is being dishonest with you. If you’re in tune with your intuition, then you may be gently guided around the situation without even having to go through a messy confrontation with the person who is being dishonest (unless a messy confrontation is something both of your souls need to experience). Your trustworthy guidance takes you through the most beneficial roads of life and protects you from pitfalls along the way.
So … Why Are We Here?
Exploring your soul’s journey is like having a front-row ticket to the grandest production of all - the story of your life. As you watch all the plot twists and turns, you also come to realize that you are playing the starring role in your movie. If you’re funny, it’s a comedy; if you’re evil, it’s a horror show. If you’re romantic, it’s a chick flick.
Regardless of the genre of your current life story, the spiritual key is to understand that you are the actor behind the roles, as well as ultimately the director, screenwriter, and audience.
Why are you here? Have you ever asked yourself this question? Certainly, it’s an essential query, worthy of deep consideration. After all, if you don’t even have an inkling of why you’re here, how can you expect to achieve your task?
Imagine a classroom where neither the teacher nor the children have any idea why they are there. What will they do with their time? Maybe they’ll spend the semester playing or enjoying cookies and juice. A setup like this may make for a fun time; however, the children wouldn’t be prepared for the next grade. They would probably have to return and take the same class all over again next year. If the teacher still didn’t know the purpose of that class, the children again wouldn’t learn their lessons and would perhaps spend their entire lives repeating the same class over and over again.
This scenario is similar to what some spiritual teachers say can happen with the process of reincarnation and soul evolution. As many of you already know, I firmly believe in the Christ as I believe in the sun rising tomorrow but I also believe in reincarnation. If you come to this world with no idea of why you are here, it may take a very long time for you to graduate from your current life lessons into higher and greater spiritual realms.
